The End Of An Era

Okay, my title of this post might be a bit dramatic, but it's how I feel... so I'm going to roll with it!

There is SO much to look forward to right now, I am just bursting with excitement!

Tomorrow... EMILIE FLIES IN!

As you can see from this picture, she's pretty awesome.  And she will be stuck on this island with me for TWO WHOLE WEEKS!  oh yeah brother!

Right after Emilie flies in, my sweet mother in law comes in as well!  She will be here for a while longer than Emilie - I AM SO EXCITED.  The day after tomorrow my father in law arrives as well!

Super excited to spend some time getting to know my in laws a little better!

In one week from tomorrow... Julie, Erik and GRACE will come out here too.  I capitalized Grace because... I just might be the most excited to see her! She is getting so big from all the pictures I see and I just NEED to hold her!

What a treat to see so many great people all at once... I can hardly wait.

The reason I feel like it's the end of an era is because I am no longer working at Ho'okele anymore!  Well, for awhile anyway.  I am going to take some time off to vacation with all these fun visitors... shortly after that Mike will come home.  In April we are going to the mainland to be sealed and I'll probably spend quite a while there with family.  So as I am anticipating all these fun events, I am also saying good bye to my two clients I have been with almost every day since October!

They are very sweet and I plan on still visiting them.  It has been so fun going to their house everyday and learning more about the Hawaiian / Japanese culture!

Pinedo's Visit to Hawaii!

This past week we were graced with the presence of some of our great friends... Mario, Holly & Max!

So, Hawaii can be kind of a pain in the bum to live as you deal with the daily things in life, but when people come to visit - that's when it turns into the ultimate vacation!

Mike & I spent some time thinking of all the fun things we would do when they got out here and made a 'menu' if you will of fun things for them to choose from.  (Yeah, we were a little excited)!

I'll just sum up some of the very funnest things we got to do!

The Pro-Bowl

Okay, so I didn't really know much about how everything worked at the Pro-bowl... And I couldn't remember the names of the teams... BUT luckily Mario is a walking encyclopedia of sports trivia.  (Never met a more knowledgable sports fanatic... ever).

It was nice to have him there to answer all my questions and make funny jokes the entire time!

Our row 15 seats in the endzone!  Oh Yeah!

Reppin' my Austin Collie jersey.

Cute Holly and Max all ready for some football!

The Beach

Well, obviously we spent some serious time at the beach!  We went to Hickam Beach, North Shore, Bellows... Some of the best beaches in Hawaii.

Max was excited!

<3 this!

One of our favorite babies!

Dole Plantation

Dole Plantation was lots of fun too!  I am in LOVE with the pineapple sherbert there.. SO DELICIOUS!

The Laie Temple

After we went to the Dole Plantation we drove out and walked around the Laie Temple grounds.  It is absolutely beautiful there!  I can't wait to go inside with Mike... :)

The Polynesian Cultural Center

This was SO MUCH FUN!  We got to see a lot of the different islands, eat delicious food, and see a fantastic show.  What more is there to do?!?!
