This year we had such a fabulous 4th of July!! We were able to go to Utah and visit with friends & family since Mike had a four day weekend.
Thursday all my sisters and I went to Lagoon with the nieces and nephews. While we were there they opened the Cannibal roller coaster! We really wanted to go but decided against it because the line was two hours long... It made it nice though, the rest of the lines were quite short because everyone went over to the new roller coaster!

Isaac and Gracie are best buds!
These four were so brave and went on several rides that I didn't think they would! Molly and Carter were tall enough to ride all the rides so they even rode the 'Wicked' and the 'Colossus'

Two of my favorite people squished together on the musical express!
Friday was the Boyle family reunion at the North Shore Aquatic Center. It was fun to catch up with cousins that I haven't seen in quite a while. Everyone really enjoyed the swimming and food as well!
Saturday was a nice & relaxing day... Mike and I went to breakfast with Mom & Dad at Kneaders. We met Jana and the boys at the park to say hello and see the festivities... We perused some stores and took advantage of the 4th of July sales, and took a long nap :)
Later we went to Grant and Marie's for a nice BBQ - it was the first time the entire family has been together in a really long time! I think since before Grace and Isaac were born... and it was a celebration that will not soon be forgotten!

The 4th of July has always been one of our favorite holidays because it is so much about family. It is enjoyable to see your family having fun and sharing memories. It will be interesting to see how Calvin will take to the fireworks as he gets older. His Daddy did not like the noise and many times we would have to leave fireworks displays early because Mike would start screaming. But good memories!
