One of the funnest parts about having a newborn is introducing him to his family! Seeing as how most of the family is in Utah, we do this little bits at a time...
This past week brought down Aunt Lisa from Seattle as well as the Colvin family. We all reconnected here in Henderson for 4 wonderful fun filled days!
Calvin was crazy about his Aunt Lisa. Every time he was crying or fussy he would instantly calm down when she held him - it was the cutest thing ever.
We enjoyed lunch together in the stratosphere - 800 ft high! The restaurant was revolving so we had a wonderful view of the Las Vegas valley the entire time. It was such a nice afternoon!
Even Calvin wanted to get in on the delicious food!
Later that night Julie and Erik arrived from their long road trip. We met them at the Palms Casino Buffet for a yummy dinner. Calvin had fun meeting his first cousins!
Love the expression on Calvin's face in this one.
All the sisters (missing Jana)
Julie & Erik went back to their hotel and the rest of us returned to Henderson after dinner ... We reconnected the next day to see the Colvin's sweet room in the Elara & enjoy the swimming pool. Mike enjoyed watching the Bama game on the HUGE projector screen in the room!
Lisa, Erik, Molly, Gracie & I headed down for some poolside time...
Grace entertained us all (and many of the other hotel guests) with her dance moves. She seriously has the ability to make anyone smile, I love that little girl to bits. Molly was also such a sweetheart and so excited to show me how she could swim in the pool (the FREEZING pool). She also enjoyed sipping from my Dr. Pepper, much to her mother's dismay. :D
Another highlight of the trip involved Lisa & I babysitting the two girls while Julie & Erik had a night out. We took them to In-N-Out for their first time, which admittedly was not their favorite place, but I think they liked the hats.
We also took them to the New York New York arcade and played some games with them. We told them if they were bad they would have to ride the roller coaster, which inspired true fear and good behavior from the girls - they did NOT want to get on that thing!
We had a wonderful time together, these people make life so SO fun!
